Fleatre flew in on silent wings. Her paws landed on a surprisingly sturdy surface. It was a big rock platform on the top of the mountain. The gryphon's wings folded on her sides, and her tail swished gently. She raised her feathered head and opened her beak. She let out a caw, then said, "To any gryphons, if you wish to get muddy, come here!!" She closed her beak and walked to the edge of the platform. This is where most of the mud races were held. She glanced down at the muddy slope and if gryphons could smile, she would have.

Fleatre clicked happily as she zoomed down the mountain. Mud splashed on her sides and paws. Her wings fully extended, she used them to keep her balance. On all fours, she slide down the mountain, shifting her weight to move from side to side or even to slow down. When she got to the end, she flapped and was airborn. She flew back to the big plateau and silently landed behind Fay. She backed up, than charged and rammed the crown of her head into the gryphon. As he slid down the mountain, she yelled, "Now it's your turn to get muddy!"

Fay screamed "MUUUUUUUUUUDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!" and grabbed Fleatre on the way down. As they whizzed down the hill, Fay got a weird look on his face, looked down, and burped and farted! He went flying into the air and landed behind Fleatre! He rammed her, causing them both to tumble head over tail the whole way down, with Fay burping the entire time!

Fleatre quickly gained control of her motions; she ended up sliding the rest of the way on her side. Mud splattered on her flanks and specks of the mucky stuff clung to her wings. The tip of her tail wasn't furry anymore; it was more like a mud ball. Her head was pretty much safe, however. The gryphon's eyes swept over to look at Fayryr as he slid down. He was a very hyper gryphon; she noticed that automatically. Finally, she wrestled with herself and the mountain and got into a sitting position as she slid down the mountain side.
Now, in the middle of this trail, around halfway or so down, was a great big puddle of mud. Fayryr was ahead of her by just a little; but he was still in the head-over-heels position. Grinning, she opened her wings and her body lifted off the mountain one foot. She glided over to him and kicked him hard. Instead of making him loose his balance, she achieved the goal of putting him in the mud puddle. With a big splash, he landed in the middle of it. His forward motion caught off. She flew past him, swung around in a wide ark, and hovered above him. She shook herself, mudd flying down to land on his head and back. She looked down at him humorously. "Stuck in the mud?" She teased.

Fay decided to do something rash! He began to spin at an alarming rate! It created a tornado of mud!!!!! It sucked Fleatre clean in...and shot her out covered in mud! Fay shot out and tackled Fleatre into the mud just as she began to get up and began to scream "Do it again, Do it again, Do it again!" over and over, very quickly until it slurred into "Dtin" Then he flew to the top and stared at his new friend, like a dog waiting for it's master to throw a stick...

Fleatre struggled under the young gryphon. When he rolled off, she just layed there. His words seemed slurred to her. She shook her head. Well! If he REALLY wants mud, I'll GIVE him mud... She slowly stood up. Mudd clung to her wings and feathers. Her crown was splashed with it. She stood on all fours and shook. Little bits of mud flung off her in all directions. A few got Fayryr. 'Tre leapt off the mountain side and hovered directly opposite of the male gryphon.
"You want some more mud?" She asked. She waited only for his enthuastic answer before stating, "Then come get some!" She dove down, head first, to the mountain side. Right when she was about to crash, she heaved herself up, did a backflip in mid-air, turning to see if he crashed into the mud or not...
(Hmm... interesting, eh? I'm trying to get more people on, since Mike/Lizardwizard is being a lazy butt and not getting his little WOW tail over here.)

Fay perfectly imitated 'Tre...including where she stopped! She fell to the mud and began to slide backwards, half unconcious, down the hill! Fay realized the mistake and whirred down the mountain side "Fleatre!!!!!Come back!!!" He lifted her up, placed her at the top, and began appologising. When she didn't stir he paniced! "I killed her!!!!NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" His screaming awoke her and He was so scared he fell back down the mountain, unable to gain control!

Blury eyes, the gryphon lifted her head to watch Fay slide down the mountain. It didn't register until a few seconds, and that's when her eyes widened. "FAY, YOU DOLT!!" She leaped up and zoomed after him. The gryphon gained as she slid down the muddy mountain after him. She dodged rocks and big puddles. She occasionally had to glide down the mountain. Finally, she reached him. Snapping open her wings, she flew over him and grabbed him by the shoulders. She flew back to the plateau. When she got there, she dropped him lightly on the rocky ground. She landed beside him. Her wings folded to her sides, she turned sharply. "What where you thinking" She demanded of him.

The gryphon shook her head and sighed. I'm always stuck with the idiots, she thought to herself before raising her head and looked at him. "You mean you don't know what thinking is?" she said, disbelievingly. How could one not know what thinking is? It's what you do all day. Though...She side-glanced to Fay. Sometimes she wondered if he thought at all or not.
